Sitting Meditation

Sit in a chair with your back straight but relaxed. Don’t make your back rigid. Situate yourself close to the edge of the chair. Make sure your knee joint forms a 90 degree angle with the ground. Place your feet in a comfortable position facing forward. Now put your attention at your feet and the ground below it. Feel the connection with the earth. It’s as if your feet and the earth are one. Now relax your face and smile slightly. Just allow yourself to breathe naturally. Enjoy the relaxation, calmness and stillness of this meditation. This simple exercise can be done for 10-15 minutes. After finishing, you will feel relaxed and rejuvenated.
