Acupuncture, Tong Ren and Parkinson’s

Not too long ago I was treating a patient with Parkinson’s Disease.  Despite the meds he was on, his shaking was still pretty bad.  He also complained of extreme fatigue.  His sleep was not that great due to his meds/shaking at night.  His shaking was especially bad in his right arm, but he also had shaking and trembling of his left arm and right leg.  Since stress makes his symptoms worst, I can bet that relaxation will at least alleviate his symptoms.  So within a few weeks, the shaking in his right leg was pretty much gone.  He was quite amazed with that.  His left arm trembling was about 70% better.  Unfortunately, his right arm was only 10%-20% better.  But his fatigue was gone and he had more vitality.  Overall, he was happy with results of treatment!
