Tong Ren Therapy
Tong Ren Therapy, a form of energy healing, was created by Tom Tam. It is probably the most unconventional therapy, but it is also the most powerful. Tom has combined eastern traditional Chinese medicine with modern understanding of anatomy, physiology and pathology to create a powerful, authentic energy healing therapy. Tong Ren Therapy has achieved miraculous results with many difficult illnesses like cancer, MS, lupus, diabetes and much more. See testimonials to get an idea of what Tong Ren Therapy can do for you. Tong Ren Therapy is used in conjunction with acupuncture and massage to give a well rounded treatment. Tong Ren Therapy can be done from a distance. However, due to current patient load, distance or phone healings are ONLY available to those that are not within close proximity or too sick to come into the clinic. Tong Ren therapy is used exclusively in the guinea pig class.

Acupuncture & Moxibustion Therapy
Acupuncture involves the insertion of needles into specific points of the body to stimulate the body’s meridians and channels to promote well being. Acupuncture therapy has been used in China for thousands of years to alleviate pain and illness. The acupuncture system used is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the Tom Tam Healing System.
Moxibustion therapy utilizes moxa or the mugwort herb. Moxa is used to warm regions and acupuncture points to promote circulation through the points to induce a smooth flow of qi and blood. Scientific research has shown that mugwort acts as an emmenagogue, meaning that it stimulates blood-flow in the pelvic area and uterus relieving congestion and pain.
Chinese Herbology
Chinese herbology is one of the most sophisticated and used modalities in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Chinese herbs can help with gastrointestinal disorders, urogenital disorders, gynecological disorders, infertility, back pain, migraines, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, stroke recovery, hypertension, diabetes, anxiety, depression, asthma, allergies and so much more. All patients are not advised to take herbs and when they do breaks are recommended. Herbs are medicinal and you can be prescribed a formula that won’t help at all or actually cause harm so please make sure to seek a qualified herbalist. This means finding a board certified clinical herbalist. Venturing out on your own can be potentially harmful. Chinese herbs are incorporated in a very safe manner keeping in mind what medication(s) a client may be on.

Chinese Tuina Massage and Cupping
Chinese Tuina massage is one of the main branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine incorporating stroking, kneading, pressing, pushing and acupressure to promote the movement of qi and blood to treat both chronic and acute musculoskeletal conditions. Tom’s system of working on the hauto jaji points is incorporated in the massage to open blockages that may be causing internal disease as well.
Cupping is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapy involving the use of glass, plastic, or bamboo cups on the skin as a vacuum suction. This therapy relieves stagnation, and is used in the treatment of common colds, pneumonia, and bronchitis. Cupping is also used to treat back, neck, shoulder, and other musculoskeletal pain.

Reflexology
Reflexology is a science which deals with the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands which correspond to all of the glands, organs and parts of the body. Stimulating these reflexes properly can help many health problems in a natural way. Reflexology is used to balance the body and reduce tension and stress. Don’t be mistaken into thinking that it’s just for relaxation though. Reflexology has developed a reputation for helping with infertility, gastrointestinal disease, asthma, urogenital disease, back pain and much more. All patients are not given reflexology, but if seen fit, it can speed up the healing process tremendously. For example, it is highly recommended for chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and gynecological disorders. Reflexology should be done 2-3 times a week for optimal results.

Life Style Counseling
Life style counseling is just as important as any other service offered here. Exercise, proper nutrition/eating habits, adequate sleep/rest and most importantly stress management are the components focused on. In fact, there are many articles written on this site to address these very issues. Taking responsibility for your health is vital. The more you incorporate these life style changes, the less you’ll need to come in for treatment. You’ll save money and time and feel better all at the same time. Sounds like a good deal to me.
